The best in the area. Its layout and degree of difficulty allows for above average players to enjoy a free flowing round.

Having belonged to a private club for many years, I am "spoiled" and find Downingtown the next best thing. I've yet to play there and find the fairways and greens in anything but above average condition. The staff is always cordial and accomodating and the pace of play enforced makes for a totally positive round. Not necessarily a course for "the weekend hacker", but maybe that's what makes it worth playing among other public courses. My wife has discovered that a gift card for a couple of rounds here makes for a great last minute gift or "stocking stuffer"!

Downingtown is a good design with variation form hole to hole. An added advantage that I like, you can walk this course.
